Trail to the Klondike
Published in Paperback by Washington State Univ Pr (June, 1997)
Author: Don McCune
Average review score:

Excellent Klondike Gold Rush Book
Author DonMcCune retraced the Klondike Gold Rush trail and wrote this excellent now-and-then book about what he found, and also about what happened during that now-famous gold rush. The book contains many excellent reproductions of photographs taken by the famous Klondike gold rush photographer Eric A. Hegg.

On the pages opposing the Hegg photos are photos taken when McCune retraced the route, and at the same places as the Hegg photos, providing an interesting now-and-then contrast. The photos and McCune's unique writing style makes this a great read.

Traveler's Guide to Alaskan Camping: Explore Alaska and the Yukon With Rv or Tent
Published in Paperback by Rolling Home Press (July, 1998)
Authors: Mike Church and Terri Church
Average review score:

Better than the Milepost.
I found this book to be more informative than the Milepost, as it is better organized and shows campgrounds and facilities that are of interest to those people who are planning to camp with RV or tent.

The book shows all campgrounds in each section of road traveled and also describes activities that are available in the area. It is informative and clearly written with excellent directions for locating attractions. Though I have not been to Alaska yet, I did show this book to fellow travelers who have used the Milepost and it was met with enthusiastic response.

Totally Amazing Book
My wife and I drive trucks in Alaska for a living. We've read just about every book there is about our great state but never have we read one with some much fun and strange information. I can't believe after 23 years there were still things I could learn, but this book taught me a bundle. And it was fun too.

If you have anything to do with Alaska, visiting or living here, you really should have this book. Oh and the map they provide online to find some of the stuff in the book is pretty cool too.

Tyler Lane and the gold nugget mystery
Published in Unknown Binding by Moody Press ()
Author: Lucille Meyst
Average review score:

It is one of the best fictional but yet strong in faith book
I read this book when I was much younger, but , then again I am somewhat prejudice as Lucille Meyst was my Aunt and I was so excited to see this on line . It is a great ficitional but strong in faith and easy for young readers to understand. We need more current living authors that can gear their literature to the younger audience that will help them understand faith and how it works.
